I followed my heart and became a cross-country skier.
Already with the age of 4 years I got in touch with skiing for the first time, thanks to my sporty family. Since then cross-country skiing, among many other sports, has been one of my big passions. Meanwhile, I was able to turn my hobby into a career and have a lot of fun working hard for my goals!
My home always had a large impact on my career so far. The sporty environment as well as the endless and fantastic training opportunities in “Allgäu” are the best conditions to continue my ambitious journey.
After I could experience World Ski Championships in my homebase Oberstdorf in 2021, another childhood dream came true with my nomination for the Olympic Games 2022 in Beijing. That I can call myself an Olympic Silver Medalist since then, makes me proud and motivates daily to aim for even higher goals. The FIS Ski World Championships in Trondheim 2025 are the next highlight to come, at which I will give my best to perform.
